23 May Your Comments About “Teaching What We Need To Learn”
As many readers of this blog are aware, I’ve just launched an online interview series called “Teaching What We Need To Learn,” in which leaders in personal growth and spirituality share their own innermost challenges. That series is free to listen to at teachingwhatweneedtolearn.com
On that site there is a Discuss section. This section uses a Facebook plug-in, which means those of you who aren’t on Facebook cannot comment there. I really want the dialogue about these interviews to be as inclusive as possible. So, if you’re not on Facebook and would like to participate, please reply to this blog post your questions and reflections on any and all of the series interviews.
Thank you!
Wendy

I’m finding these interviews really inspiring and engaging, and felt I wanted to comment on the interview with Dan Siegel which I felt was very profound. I was reminded of when my own father was dying and he asked how long it was going to take. I found myself saying that maybe dying was a bit like being born, it’s a process, and it takes time. And finally, at the end, holding his hand as he died was an experience that transcended our personalities and our history – and also, Raphael, hearing about your experience with your mother too, and it’s as if at those times it was possible for our parents to connect to us in a way that they couldn’t allow themselves to do in life….
